Plain Answers
A torsion spring on a house built in this area's typical window - the mid-70s through the late 90s - usually runs a standard size, but not always. What We Do Not Take On
We work on garage doors and openers - springs, cables, tracks, rollers, panels, and the motor units that run them. We don't do general handyman work, and we don't touch electrical panels or wiring beyond the opener's own circuit.
If a door has been hit hard enough to bend the frame or the header above it, that's a carpentry or structural repair first, and we'll say so rather than bolt a new door onto a bad frame. We also won't try to patch a door that's cheaper to replace than repair - if the panels are rusted through or the track is bent beyond straightening, we'll tell you that's a replacement job, not a repair, even if it's not what you called about.
We don't stock every opener brand's proprietary parts on the truck, so some jobs need a return trip once a part comes in. That's a real limit, not an excuse - we'd rather say it up front than have you wait on a job we can't finish in one visit.
